What happens if my pet becomes seriously ill shortly before the trip?

Cancellation costs insurance applies if you are unable to travel due to an insured event.


This includes:


  • Serious illness or accident involving your dog or cat
  • Unexpected worsening of a chronic condition
  • Death of your insured pet
  • Serious illness or death of the intended carer



📌 Prerequisite:

The event must have occurred after bookingand be medically certified (veterinary certificate).


💰 For events involving pets, a benefit limit of CHF 5,000 applies.
