# Can I deny the FlexDrive app access to my location data?

**Unfortunately not.**

FlexDrive and BonusDrive only work with the recording of your driving data in order to determine your score based on your driving style. Without access to the location data, the app cannot analyse your trips and the functions of the model cannot be used.
