# Do I have to log into the app before every journey?

**No.** You remain logged into the app permanently.

The FlexDrive app uses the motion sensor to automatically detect whether you are currently driving and starts recording your journey.

Based on your driving style, the app differentiates whether you are the driver, passenger or travelling by public transport.

This means everything works automatically – without you having to log in before each journey.
