# Do I need a dongle, GPS or a black box for FlexDrive or BonusDrive?

No, you don't need a dongle or a permanently installed GPS tracker for FlexDrive and BonusDrive.
If you have decided in favour of one of the models when signing the contract, you simply install the FlexDrive app from simpego on your smartphone.

In the app, you transmit the kilometres driven or the current mileage of your car once a month. While driving, the app measures your driving style, which is relevant for your premium discount. To ensure the app can record the data correctly, you must have your smartphone with you while driving.
