# Does the Insurance cover apply even if the trip was booked before the policy was taken out?

### Yes,
trips that have already been booked are also covered by simpego travel insurance, provided that the relevant date of an event falls within the policy’s period of validity and the insured event (e.g. illness, accident, etc.) had not already occurred or been foreseeable at the time the policy was taken out or the trip was booked.
