# My pet dies abroad – will the costs of repatriation be covered?

### **Yes.**

###### **If your travelling pet dies during the insured trip, we will cover the costs of transport back to Switzerland.**

###### **Important to know:**
* You are responsible for **organising the transport**.
* We will reimburse you for the costs incurred within the scope of the sum insured.
* For events relating to an insured pet, a maximum benefit of CHF 5,000 per event (including any other benefits) applies.
* Please submit all receipts and necessary evidence to us so that we can check and reimburse the costs.
