# What costs are covered by Cancellation costs insurance?

If you have to cancel your trip due to an **insured event**, simpego will cover:

✔️ **The contractually owed cancellation costs**

✔️ **Additional costs for rebooking**

✔️ **Sum insured:** Up to **CHF 30,000** (single person) / **CHF 50,000** (family)
