When is there a pre-existing condition?

A pre-existing condition is when an illness or treatment has already been diagnosed or carried out before you take out your insurance.

It is important to note that no benefits are provided for illnesses that were diagnosed or treated in the three months prior to the start of insurance.

If more than 24 months have passed since the last treatment, a new treatment is considered a new illness.
