Which insurance coverages can be insured?

The following insurance coverages can be taken out individually or in combination for the insured buildings and apartments:- Fire damage incl. singeing and utility fire damage. The insurance also covers damage caused by the effects of electricity, i.e. damage to live electrical equipment, machines and lines caused by the effects of the electrical energy itself and by overvoltage or heating due to overload.- Damage caused by the elements due to high water, flooding, storm, hail, avalanches, snow pressure, rock fall, rock fall and landslide.- Water damage due to water leaking from pipes and other liquids and gases, due to the leakage of liquid from aquariums, water beds, mobile pools, etc. and by rain penetrating from the outside, snow or by melt water, by backwater from the sewerage system and by slope and ground water.- Damage caused by theft, i.e. Damage caused by theft or an attempt to do so, as well as damage caused by perpetrators locked inside the building who forcibly break out of the building or a room (breakout theft).- Comprehensive, i.e. damage caused by accidental, sudden, unforeseen, violent external impact (e.g. tree falls on the house). In the case of electrical appliances, damage caused by the effects of electricity, liquids and moisture is also insured. In the case of damage caused by graffiti and other pollution, the benefit is limited to CHF 1,000 per year.- Glass breakage, i.e. breakage of building glass and breakage damage to sanitary facilities.- Additional costs incurred in connection with an insured loss, such as loss of rent, demolition of building remains, emergency glazing and emergency locks, lock change costs, etc. Ongoing fixed costs such as mortgage interest, heating and ancillary costs are also covered. Always included in the insurance is also a comprehensive building insurance for damage to the insured building and the associated property as a result of construction projects up to a maximum total construction sum of CHF 250,000.
