What happens if I don't have enough credit on my prepaid credit card for the reward?

If we cannot charge your credit card on the day of the charge, you will be notified by email. We will attempt to charge your credit card a total of three times, each time with a three-day interval.

If payment is still not possible after the third attempt (on the ninth day), your contract will automatically be switched to the BasisDrive flat-rate model with a fixed annual premium (CAP premium of the FlexDrive contract).

In this case, you will lose your entitlement to the kilometre model, as the payment conditions have not been met.

Your BasisDrive contract will be created retroactively to the start of the current insurance period.

Tips for avoiding interruptions:

Sufficient credit: Make sure that you have sufficient credit available on your credit card.
Update your credit card: You can use the credit card payment link to add a different card retrospectively. If you can't find the email with the link, simply contact our customer service team and we'll send you a new one.
Alternative card: If you only use a prepaid credit card, switch to a Visa debit card with an online payment function.
